A shout εὐφήμει or εὐφημεῖτε: hence, as this was mainly done on sorrowful occasions, cry aloud, shriek, ἅπας δ' ἀνηυφήμησεν (so Brunck for ἀνευφώνησεν) οἰμωγῇ λεώς S.Tr.783, cf.
