Parallel to: use prep., P. and V. παρά (acc. of motion, dat. of rest). Met., like: P. and V. ὁμοῖος, ἴσος, P. παρόμοιος, παραπλήσιος. Parallel straight lines: P. παράλληλοι, αἱ (Arist.).

v. trans.

equal: P. and V. ἰσοῦσθαι (dat.), ἐξισοῦσθαι (dat.).
