enclit. Adv., poet. for που, anywhere, somewhere, Il. 10.8, etc.; εἴπ. S. Aj. 886 (lyr.). of time, αἴ κέ π. Ζεὺς δῷσι if ever…, Il. 1.128, Od. 1.379, cf. Il. 6.526. to give an expression of indefiniteness, haply, probably, 19.273, Od. 1.348, etc.
