   A turned so as to face one another: hence, correlative, co-ordinate, counterpart, Pl.Tht.158c, etc.; τινί to a thing, Id.Grg.464b, R.605a; ἡ ῥητορική ἐστιν ἀ. τῇ διαλεκτικῇ Arist.Rh.1354a1, Pol.1293a33, etc.; ἰατρικὴ ἀ. δικαιοσύνῃ Aristid.2.37 J.; also τινός the correlative or counterpart of .., Pl.R.530d, Grg.465d, Isoc.5.61, etc.; ἀ. . . ὥσπερ Arist.Pol.1292b7.
