Utter trite statements, v.: P. ἀρχαιολογεῖν.

'Tis a trite saying, yet will I declare it: V. πάλαι μὲν οὖν ὑμνηθὲν ἀλλʼ ὅμως ἐρῶ (Eur., Phoen. 438).
