A shrub, bush, sg.only in Hsch., who has ῥώψ· βοτάνη ἁπαλή: elsewh. only in pl., underwood, brushwood, Od.10.166, 14.49, 16.47; ῥῶπες εἰς σκέπην Lib.Or.11.254; ἱμαντώδη φυτά, acc. to Eust.1750.2.
