A = πλαδαρός, flaccid, cj. in Gal.19.88:—Hsch. has βλᾰδός and βλᾰδύς (which is prob. in Hp. Aër.20). (With βλαδύς cf. Skt. mrdús 'soft', Lat. mollis; cf. μέλδομαι, ἀμαλδύνω.)
