[Seite 125] Hom. einmal, Iliad. 16, 419 von den Lyciern. Σαρπηδὼν δ' ὡς οὖν ἴδ' ἀμιτροχίτωνας ἑταίρους δαμέντας, welche Röcke ohne Mitra hatten; vgl. μίτρα; unter χιτών ist hier aber der Panzer zu verstehen, wie in χαλκοχίτων, vgl. χιτῶνα χάλκεον Iliad. 13, 439.
