Risk, hazard: Ar. and P. παραβάλλεσθαι, V. παραρρίπτειν, προβάλλειν, προτείνειν; see risk. Endanger: P. εἰς κίνδυνον καθιστάναι, Ar. and P. κινδυνεύνειν (dat., or περί, gen.), V. κινδύνῳ βάλλειν. Be jeopardised: P. κινδυνεύεσθαι (pass.).
