Reach: P. and V. ἐξικνεῖσθαι (gen.) (or absol.), P. ἐφικνεῖσθαι (gen.) (or absol.). If prayers penetrate beneath the earth, he hears us: V. εἴπερ γὰρ εἴσω γῆς ἀκοντίζουσʼ ἀραί κλύει (Eur., Or. 1241). Pierce: V. διαπερᾶν, διέρχεσθαι (acc. or gen.). Break: P. and V. ῥηγνύναι (P. generally compounded), διαρρηγνύναι. Enter: P. and V. εἰσέρχεσθαι (εἰς, acc., V. also acc. alone). εἰσδύεσθαι (εἰς. acc., or V. acc. alone); see enter.
