IG22.468.1): neut. πετροβόλα (sc. ὄργανα), opp. δορυβόλα, J.AJ9.10.3.    2 sling, v.l. in LXX 1 Ki.14.14.    III λίθοι πετρόβολοι hurled as from a sling, of hailstones, ib.Ez.13.11, 13.
