Ἀχαιούς Il.23.721 (v.l. Ἀχαιοί).    II intr., to be grieved or distressed, θυμῷ ἀνιάζων grieving at heart, Od.22.87; ἀλλ' ὅτε δή ῥ' ἀνίαζε was grieving, growing weary, 4.460, cf.
