   A whose γύης is of one piece with the ἔλυμα and ἱστοβοεύς, not fitted together (πηκτόν), Hes.Op.433, A.R.3.232, 1285.

αὐτόγυος: -ον, αὐτόγυον ἄροτρον, «μονόξυλον ἀλέτρι», δοιὰ δὲ θέσθαι ἄροτρα ... αὐτόγυον καὶ πηκτόν, «εἰ μὲν οὖν ἓν ξύλον ᾖ τὸ ὅλον ὁ γύης μέχρι τοῦ ζυγοῦ ἀπὸ τοῦ ἐλύματος, καλεῖται τὸ ἄροτρον αὐτόγιον˙ ἐὰν δὲ μικρότερος ᾖ τῆς χρείας ὁ γύης, ἐνσφηνοῦται τὸ ἕτερον αὐτῷ ξύλον τὸ συνάπτον αὐτὸν καὶ τὸν ζυγόν, καὶ καλεῖται τὸ μὲν ὅλον πηκτόν, τὸ δὲ ἐνσφηνωθὲν ἱστοβοεύς», (Πρόκλ.
