   A encircling, αὶ Κυκλάδες νῆσοι the Cyclades, islands in the Aegaean Sea, which encircle Delos, Hdt.5.31, Th.1.4, Isoc.4.136, 12.43, cf. Theoc.17.90, Str.10.5.1: without νῆσοι, Th.2.9; so Κυκλάδας νησαίας πόλεις the cities of those islands, E.Ion1583.    2 recurrent, of Time, Orph.H.53.7.    II Subst. κυκλάς (sc. ἐσθής), ἡ, a woman's garment with a border all round it, Prop.4(5).7.40.    2 part of an irrigation-machine, PLond.3.776.10 (vi A.D.).
