English (LSJ)
ἄρτος, ὁ, roll or loaf
A baked or toasted on a spit, Hp.Vict.2.42, Ar.Fr.103, Ph.2.273, cf. Moer.p.287 P. ; without ἄρτος, Pherecr.55, Nicopho 15 :—also ὀβέλιος, CIG3597b (Ilium) ; and ὀβελίτης (q. v.). But in ABIII we have ὀβολίας ἄρτους· τοὐς ὀβολοῦ πωλουμένους, Ἀριστοφάνης Πελαργοῖς (Fr.440).— Ath.3.111b writes it ὀβελίας and gives both interpretations.
