berichtigen, I) verbessern: corrigere (etwas, was nicht recht ist, anders gestalten, etwas Schlechtes gut machen, z. B. errorem paenitendo). – emendare (die einzelnen Fehler, Flecken aus einem Ganzen tilgen, fehlerfrei machen, berichtigen, verbessern, z. B. alcis scripta). – certius aliquid afferre in alqa re (etwas Bestimmteres angeben hinsichtlich einer Sache, z. B. hinsichtlich der Sachen in einem Buche, in rebus). – II) in Ordnung, Richtigkeit bringen: expedire (ins reine bringen, z. B. Schulden, nomina). – solvere (bezahlen, z. B. aes alienum, pecunias creditas).
