A gift of honour, πρώτῳ τοι μετ' ἐμὲ πρεσβήϊον ἐν χερὶ θήσω Il.8.289; λαχὼν πρεσβήϊα τέχνης AP9.656.6. 2 privilege of age, Plu.2.787d, cf.
