   A hop on greased wineskins at the Ἀσκώλια, Ar.Pl.1129 (cf. Sch.).    II hop on one leg, ἀσκωλιάζειν ῥᾷον ἐπὶ τοῖς ἀριστεροῖς Arist.IA705b33, cf. Ael.NA3.13, Plu.2.621f, Gal.11.106; also, jump up and down with legs held together, Sch.Orib.3p.689D. (Signf. 11 may be original and the connexion with ἀσκός due to popular etymology.)
