Tim. 259; daher οἱ ἀπὸ σκηνῆς und οἱ ἐπὶ σκηνῆς, die eigentlichen Schauspieler, die σκηνικοί, im Ggstz der θυμελικοί, Schaef. mel. p. 27; u. τὰ ἀπὸ σκηνῆς, sc. μέλη, der von der Bühne herab von dem Schauspieler, nicht von dem Chore vorgetragene Gesang, Arist. poet. 12 probl. 19, 15. Im engern Sinne heißt auch der Theil der Bühne σκηνή, auf welchem die Decorationen standen.
