   A ἀνασέσωικεν IG12(5).1061.9 (Ceos, iii B.C.): aor. ἀνέσωισε ib.1004.5 (Ios, iv/iii B.C.), cf. OGI56.11:— recover what is lost, rescue, ἀπὸ φόνου ἔρρυτο κἀνέσωσέ μ' S.OT1351 (lyr.); ἀ. φίλον ἀλλοιωφέντα Arist.EN1165b22:—more freq. in Med., ἀνασῴζεσθαί τινα φόνου rescue from death, S.El.1133; ἀνασωσάμενός μοι δὸς . .
