Etymology: Sophie Minon, CEG 5, 263f, compares βλαχάν βάτραχον and Artemis' epithet βλαγανῖτις. Grošelj, Živa Antika 7 (1957) 42 adduces βεβλιχασμένον (ms. βεβλυχ-) μεμολυσμένον H.
