ἐπεύνακτοι: -ων, οἱ, (εὐνάζω) ὄνομα τῶν Εἰλώτων ὅσοι κατετάχθησαν εἰς τὰς τάξεις τῶν ἀποθανόντων Λακεδαιμονίων ἐν τῷ πρὸς Μεσσηνίους πολέμῳ, «οὓς καὶ πολίτας ὕστερον ποιήσαντες προσηγόρευσαν ἐπευνάκτους» Θεόπομπος παρ’ Ἀθην. 271C·- ὁ Διόδ., ἐν Ἐκλογ.
