Be or get rid of: P. and V. ἀπαλλάσσειν (acc.), ἀπαλλάσσεσθαι (gen.), ἐξαπαλλάσσεσθαι (Thuc. 4, 28, but rare P.), P. ἀποπέμπεσθαι (Thuc. 3, 4). Remove: P. and V. μεθιστάναι, ἀφιστάναι; see remove.
