   A again, anew, afresh, once more, Il.1.540, etc.: freq. after numerals, δεύτερον αὖ, τρίτον αὖ, etc., Hom.; τὸν δὲ πέμπτον αὖ λέγω A.Th.526, cf. Ch. 1066 (lyr.); in a question, expressing impatience, τίς δὴ αὖ τοι . . ; Il.1.540.    II generally, again, i.e. further, moreover, ib.2.493, etc.; καὶ ἔτι γε αὖ Pl.Tht. 192b.    2 on the other hand, following δέ, τούτῳ μὲν . . τούτῳ δ' αὖ . . Il.4.417; also, in turn, οἳ δ' ἄρα . .
