v. trans.

V. γυμνοῦν ὅπλων (Eur., H.F. 1382).

Strip (the dead) of arms: P. and V. σκυλεύειν (Eur., Phoen, 1417) .

They disarmed me of both my coverings: V. γυμνόν. μʼ ἔθηκαν διπτύχου στολίσματος (Eur., Hec. 1156).
