1 Athenian, of Athens — κυλίκεσσιν Ἀθαναίαισι fr. 124. 4. pro subs. ἀρέομαι πὰρ μὲν Σαλαμῖνος Ἀθαναίων χάριν μισθὸν (P. 1.76) ἁδεῖαί γε μὲν ἀμβολάδαν ἐν τελεταῖς δὶς Ἀθαναίων μιν ὀμφαὶ κώμασαν i. e. at the Panathenaia (N. 10.34) ὅθι παῖδες Ἀθαναίων ἐβάλοντο φαεννὰν κρηπῖδ' ἐλευθερίας at the battle of Artemision fr. 77. 1.
