   A voice, whether in speaking, shouting, lamenting, Ἀτρείδεω ὀπὸς ἔκλυον Il.16.76, cf. 14.150, 18.222, 22.451, etc.; or in singing, Κίρκης . . ἀειδούσης ὀπὶ καλῇ Od.10.221, cf. 5.61; ἄειδον ἀμειβόμεναι ὀπὶ καλῇ Il.1.604, cf.
