C.), etc.; in parodies of Trag.Adesp.89,92 ap.Ath.4.156f: prov. τοὐπὶ τῇ φ. μύρον 'pearls before swine', Sopat.14, Clearch.53, Cic.Att.1.19.2; title of Menippean satire by Varro; ὅταν φακῆν ἕψητε μὴ 'πιχεῖν μύρον Stratt.45.
