   A -ῆν Hp.Vict.3.68: pf. ἠρίστηκα X.Cyr. 4.2.39, Antiph.212.25; of this tense the Com. also used I pl. ἠρίσταμεν Ar.Fr.496, Theopomp.Com.22, inf. ἠριστάναι Hermipp.60:— Pass., pf. ἠρίστημαι, v. infr. [ᾱρ Ar.Eq.815, etc.; ᾰρ only late, AP11.387 (Pall.) ]:—take the ἄριστον or midday meal, Ar.Nu.416, Eq.815; ἠρίστων, opp. ἐδείπνουν, X.Mem.2.7.12, cf.
