   A Σ. ἡ νῦν Σικελίη καλευμένη Hdt.7.170:—Σῐκᾰνός [ῐκᾰ Call.Dian.57], ὁ, a Sicanian, Th.6.2, Philist.3, etc.: Adj. Σῐκᾰνικός, ή, όν, Th.6.62; ἐν τῇ Σ. τῆς Σικελίας Arist.Mete.359b15 (v.l. Σικάνῃ).
