   A born of a noble sire, E.IA1077 (lyr.); τίς ἂν εὔ. ὧδε βλάστοι; S.El.1081 (lyr.); ἐλπίδων . . εὐπατρίδων of hopes derived from those of noble birth, dub. cj. ib.858 (-ιδᾶν vel -ιδῶν codd.).    2 at Rome, αἱ εὐπάτριδες ἀρχαί magistratus patricii, D.C.46.45: γυνὴ εὔ., = Lat. patricia, Id.72.5 (here acc. sg. -ίδα, but cf. κακόπατρις, ὁμόπατρις).
