Ph.2.473, D.L.6.87; ἐπηράσατο εἰς ἀεὶ μηλόβοτον εἶναι (sc. τὴν Καρχηδόνα) App.BC1.24, cf.AP9.103 (Mund.): metaph., μ. γυναίοις τὴν ἀρχὴν ἀνῆκεν Philostr.VA5.27, cf.VS1.21.4.
