Mantoulidis Etymological

ὁ καί πληθ. τιτᾶνες (=γένος θεῶν, γιοί τοῦ Οὐρανοῦ καί τῆς Γῆς). Πιθανόν ἀπό τό ρῆμα τιταίνω (=τεντώνω), γιατί οἱ Τιτᾶνες ἅπλωναν τά χέρια τους γιά ἀδικίες.
