P. and V. μέλλων, P. ἐσόμενος. Coming directly: P. and V. ἐπιών. A future life of happiness awaits him: V. ὁ δʼ ἐπιών νιν βίοτος εὐδαίμων μένει (Eur., Or. 1659). Future (time): P. and V. λοιπός, μέλλων, P. ἐπίλοιπος. Future generations: P. and V. οἱ ἔπειτα, P. οἱ ἐπιγιγνόμενοι, V. ὕστεροι, οἱ, μεθύστεροι, οἱ, οἱ ἐπίσποροι, ἔκγονα, τά. subs.
