ἡ, Dor. word,

ἀργυρέᾳ εὐλάκᾳ εὐλαξεῖν (Lacon. fut. inf.),

   A should plough with silver ploughshare, intimating that there would be a dearth, corn being worth its weight in silver, Orac. ap. Th.5.16 (v.l. εὐλάχα, Phot.).—Neither Verb nor Noun occurs elsewh. (Cf. αὐλάχα, αὖλαξ.)

[Seite 1077] nur in einem Orakel bei Thuc. 5. 16, ἀργυρέᾳ εὐλάκᾳ εὐλάξειν, mit silberner Pflugschaar pflügen (wahrscheinlich alte lakon. Formen von αὖλαξ), von eiuer Theuerung, wo das Getreide so theuer wird, als hätte man mit silberner Pflugschaar pflügen müssen.
