   A breeze, esp. a cool breeze from water (cf. Arist. Mu.394b13), or the fresh air of morning, once in Hom., αὔρη δ' ἐκ ποταμοῦ ψυχρὴ πνέει Od.5.469, cf. h.Merc.147, Hes. Op.670, etc.: rare in early Prose, αὔρας ἀποπνεούσας [ὁ Νεῖλος] μοῦνος οὐ παρέχεται Hdt. 2.19; αὔρα φέρουσα ἀπὸ χρηστῶν τόπων ὑγίειαν Pl.R.401c, cf.
