Lösegeld, pecuniae, quibus alqs redimitur. – aurum, quod pro redemptione alcis affertur (das für die Loskaufung gebrachte Gold). – pactum pro capite pretium (wenn man zugleich sein Leben damit erkauft). – Im Zshg. gew. bl. pretium, pecunia, z.B. ohne L., sine pretio (z.B. alqm dimittere, reddere, recipere): durch L. jmd. befreien, für jmd.
