Quiet: P. and V. ἥσυχος, ἡσυχαῖος (Plat.), P. ἡσύχιος, ἠρεμαῖος. Moderate: P. and V. μέτριος. On a gentle slope: P. ἐν ἠρέμα προσάντει (Plat., Phaedr. 230C). Of motion: P. and V. ἥσυχος.
