Morb.2.64; pot for honey, Theoc.5.59.    II spade, shovel, σ. εἰς παλαίστραν Inscr.Délos 290.76 (iii B.C.); used in dredging, Ph.Bel.98.27: ῥαπτὰς γειοφόρους σκαφίδας perh. baskets for carrying earth, AP6.297 (Phan.).
