   A = τελέω, τὸν ὅρκον GDI5075.23 (Crete, i B.C.); = Lat. perago, Dosith.p.434 K.; ἄγονον σπόρον . . τελίσκει makes the seed barren, Nic.Al.583 codd. plerique (but τελέσκων is prob. cj. for τελέσχων in Id.Fr.74.10):—Pass., to be initiated, Berl.Sitzb.1927.169 (Cyrene); to be dedicated or offered, εἰς τὰ . . ἱερὰ μετὰ θυσιῶν OGI90.32 (Rosetta, ii B.C.); τελισκόμενος an initiate, a ἱερόδουλος, LXX De. 23.17(18), Hsch., Phot. (τελεσκόμενος Suid.); ταῦτα δὲ πάντα τελίσκεται καὶ γίνεται μεθ' ἡδονῆς are done, Vett. Val.241.1; εὐσύνοπτα τὰ θνητῶν τελίσκεται Id.346.10, cf. 354.16 (v.l.).
