μαστᾰρύζω: ὡς τὸ τονθορύζω, προφέρω ἀσαφῶς, ὡς ὁ ἔχων τὸ στόμα αὑτοῦ πλῆρες, ἐπὶ γέροντος, Ἀριστοφ. Ἀχ. 689· - «μασταρύζειν· τὸ κακῶς μασᾶσθαι, Κυρηναῖοι» Φώτ.· - ὁ Ἡσύχ. ἔχει μασταρίζειν (διὰ τοῦ ι) καὶ ἑρμηνεύει «μαστιχᾶσθαι. τρέμειν. ἢ σφοδρῶς ἢ κακῶς μασᾶσθαι».
