   A six plethra long, Phryn.387 ; in ἕ. ἀγών, = στάδιον, E.El.883, and κῶλον ἕ. δρόμου Id.Med.1181 (where Sch. expl. μέγα καὶ ὑπερβαῖνον πλέθρου μέτρον) . is the better reading, narrowing.
