   A raise a mound, Aq.Ez.17.17:—usu. in Pass., to be raised on a bank or mound, τῆς πόλιος ἐκκεχωσμένης ὑψοῦ Hdt.2.138; μάλιστα ἡ ἐν Βουβάστι πόλις ἐξεχώσθη ib.137.    II of a bay, to be filled up by the deposit of a river, v.l. ib.11.    III to be removed, of rubbish, PFay.110.5 (i A.D.).
