   A = ἀναφανδόν (ἀμφανδόν), publicly, openly, without disguise, opp. λάθρη, βαλέειν Il.7.243; opp. κρυφηδόν, Od.14.330; opp. δόλῳ, κτείνειν 1.296; ἀ. πάντ' ἀγορεύειν Il.9.370; ὡς ἀ πέπραγα πανταχῇ καλῶς Ion Trag. ap. Phot.p.98 R.—Prop. neut. of Adj. ἀμφαδός, ή, όν, which occurs in Od.19.391 μὴ ἀμφαδὰ ἔργα γένοιτο discovered, known, cf. A.R.3.615.
