Ἀναβάντα γὰρ εἰς τὴν ἀκρόπολιν, καὶ διὰ τὴν ὑπερβολὴν τῆς λύπης προσκόψαντα τῷ ζῆν, ἑαυτὸν κατακρημνίσαι → For he ascended the acropolis and then, because he was disgusted with life by reason of his excessive grief, cast himself down the height
