   A on edge of evening (ἄκρος 11), hence, at nightfall, Nic.Th.25 (cf. Sch.), AP7.633 (Crin.); τὴν ἀκρέσπερον [νύκτα] Arist.HA619b21, as cited by Ath.8.353b (ἀρχέσπερον codd. Ath., ἄχρις ἑσπερίου codf. Arist.):—neut. ἀκρέσπερον as Adv., Theoc.24.77; but, on approach of evening, Hp.Epid.7.23.
