ἀπρόθεσμος: -ον, ὁ μὴ γινόμενος ἐν ὡρισμένῳ χρόνῳ, ὁ μὴ γινόμενος κατὰ τὴν δεῖναδεῖνα ὥραν τοῦ ἔτους, κατ’ ἀντίθ. πρὸς τὸ ἐμπρόθεσμος, «διὸ καὶ τῶν πλείστων (ζῴων) ἐμπρόθεσμοςχρόνος τῆς ἐπὶ τὴν μῖξιν ὁρμῆς, ἐπὶ δὲ τῶν ἀνθρώπων ἀπρόθεσμος πολλαχοῦ» Σωραν. 10, σ. 28.
