A build besides, π. [τεῖχος] build another wall, v.l. for ἐσοικ- in Th.2.76; οἰκίαν PCair.Zen.642.3 (iii B.C.); τῷ μὲν ἐν τῇ ἀγορᾷ [βωμῷ] προσοικοδομήσας . . μεῖζον μῆκος having built an additional length to the altar in the agora, i.e. having added to its length, Th.6.54:— Pass., D.H.1.79; φρούρια π. τῷ τείχει J.BJ 5.12.2. 2 metaph., ἄλλο τε εἶδος . . προσῳκοδόμουν τὸ θνητόν they also framed, Pl.Ti.69c; τὸ κακῶς -οικοδομημένον ἐν τῇ σαρκί Arist.Pr.866b17, cf.
