   A award further penalty (cf. ἀτίμητος), in Act. of the court, π. τοὺς κρίναντας τὴν δίκην ὅ τι χρὴ πρὸς τούτῳ παθεῖν Pl.Lg.767e, cf. 943b, Arist.Ath.63.3; πρὸς τῷ ἀργυρίῳ π. δεσμὸν τῷ κλέπτῃ D.24.114, cf. 103; π. τῷ δημοσίῳ adjudge to the treasury as a debt, Id.21.44; τὸ ἴσον τῷ δημοσίῳ π. ὅσονπερ τῷ ἰδιώτῃ ibid.:—Med., of the individual δικαστής who proposed the additional penalty, ἐὰν προστιμήσῃ ἡ ἡλιαία (sc. τὸ δεδέσθαι (, προστιμᾶσθαι δὲ τὸν βουλόμενον Lex ap. D. 24.105, cf.
