   A of or like a στήλη, λίθος Luc. Philops.11; ἐπὶ σταλίτιδι πέτρᾳ (Dor.) AP7.424 (Antip.Sid.).    II inscribed on a στήλη, posted or placarded as infamous, στηλίτην τινὰ ἀναγράφειν, -ίτας ποιεῖν, Isoc.16.9, D.9.45; σ. γεγονὼς ἐν τῇ ἀκροπόλει Thrasyb. ap. Arist.Rh.1400a32; cf. foreg.
